EXPLORING NATURE (mono prints)
Printmaking off clay is a process I love and is what I call SLOW ART.
It is a form of meditation that allows for a wonderful symbiosis between the materials used and the imagery I wish to depict. 
The beautiful forms and colors found in nature lend themselves well to this layered process and create dynamic compositions.

The creation of each piece is a long process starting with the slabbing out of clay which is then cut, drawn into and inked. Each artwork is the result of many layers of print, paint, drawing and collage.
The focus of this work is to bring the viewer into a closer connection with the natural world and awaken an understanding
​about the beauty and harmony existing in nature.
A natural progression of my love of pattern, and color has resulted in a collaborative textile/fashion project with my daughter Alice Springs called EDEN. Our first project is a wearable art project inspired by Japanese kimonos. Our wearable fashion is now available online at
